Position Description
\nWe are looking for an exceptional VA to join our fast growing, busy, exciting photography business and online workshop company.<\/p>\n
You’ll be providing customer support over email as well as assisting in a range of web business management tasks including website
\nupdating, community management, social media posting + the rest of the wide range of tasks that comes in a business like this.<\/p>\n
About Us:
\nI am a wedding and portrait photographer and also teach online workshops to photographers throughout the world. We are expanding more and more into workshops and are building a strong online brand and online community of photographers. Lots of plans to expand more in the second half of this year and beyond.<\/p>\n
You need to have:
\n\u2022 Availability for 20-30 hours of work each MONTH; flexibility for the amount of hours to fluctuate from week to week and month to month, with strong potential of increased hours in the future
\n\u2022 Availability to be a long-term member of a rapidly growing business
\n\u2022 Availability for email processing at consistent times every day, Monday through
\nFriday
\n\u2022 Willingness and ability to learn new software and skills as needed\u2013and to do so sometimes very rapidly(This may be through watching videos instead of personally being trained by me)
\n\u2022 You will be an independent contractor, not an employee<\/p>\n
SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
\nRequired:
\n\u2022 Experience assisting other solopreneurs, micro businesses or small businesses with an emphasis in customer service
\n\u2022 Exceptionally high levels of attention to detail, self-motivation, follow-through and
\nthorough communication
\n\u2022 Experience with email customer service
\n\u2022 Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies + software platforms
\n\u2022 Advanced to expert skill level with Gmail and Google Docs
\n\u2022 Intermediate skill level with WordPress and with website management (especially HTML & FTP)
\nExperience with social media management (especially Facebook & Twitter for business purposes)
\nBasic to intermediate skill level with SocialOomph
\n\u2022 Skype<\/p>\n

\nIntermediate skill level with Basecamp
\nIntermediate skill level with photo\/image editing<\/p>\n
