Hi! We are Meghan and Justin Hof the owners of Gathering Light Photography.
We’re a married couple who love traveling, meeting new people and spending time playing outside. And, most importantly, we love shooting weddings together.
Meghan started Gathering Light Photography 2006 after studying photography with photographers from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography, The Rocky Mountain School of Photography and Rockport College.
She had worked as a second shooter/ assistant photographer for another wedding photographer before starting her own business so she knew how important it was to have two photographers to cover a wedding. So she invited Justin to come along and get a few extra shots.
She began showing him some things and he did so well that she invited him to the next one. . . and the next and. . . then he started to threaten starting his own photography business to be her direct competition. (And she was smart enough not to let that happen!). We have been a team every since. We each bring a unique perspective to your wedding photography coverage and our clients love the results!
